If you are experiencing any of the following symptoms or conditions, contact us immediately for emergency dental treatment or consultation.
Swelling and/or Hyper Sensitivity to Heat
If your teeth are feeling overly sensitive to heat it may be a sign of infection and should be treated as soon as possible. If the sensitivity is accompanied by pain, swelling or pus, contact Luna Dentistry immediately. If you experience severe and sudden swelling, it may also be a sign of oral infection and should be diagnosed immediately. If the swelling is accompanied by pus, heat, and tenderness, you are advised to apply a cold compress and contact us immediately.
Knocked Out or Broken Tooth
If your tooth is knocked out or severely broken, you are advised to apply pressure with a cold compress to control bleeding and swelling. Try to place the tooth back in its socket or in a glass of cold milk before rushing to our dental office. If you arrive within 30 minutes, the tooth may be saved. So if you lose or damage a tooth, it is important that you act fast!
